The unit display function allows easy display of symbols for units such as mm, μm, decimal degrees, or degrees minutes and seconds. Units to be displayed in advance and the stage resolution (when using stages produced by our company, the resolution described in the catalog is entered) can be configured individually for each axis to allow direct reading of the travel distance.
(Measurement precision can depend on the individual positioning precision for each stage.)

2.Various Built-In Zero Return Functions

In addition to the zero return mode that uses each of the stage sensors (limit, pre-origin, origin), there is also a zero return mode that uses the zero coordinate value as its origin.
This zero return function allows any arbitrary point to be set as the origin.

3.Equipped with Program Operation and Teaching Features

Support for teaching with the QT-A series is provided by using the downloadable data-type program for manually operated devices (QT-AK, QT-AK3).

4. Windows Compatible Downloadable Program Editor Called “QT-EDIT” is Included as Standard With All QT-A

QT-EDIT can be used to effortlessly create travel patterns. Generated operation patterns can be downloaded (written) to a QT-A series controller which allows stand-alone controller execution. In addition, it is possible to obtain a dump of the operation pattern data that was written to the controller, edit it in QT-EDIT before re-writing it back to the controller.

5.Equipped With a Wide Array of I/O Ports

The QT-ADL1 and QT-ADL1-35 models are equipped as standard with general-purpose input and output, program channel selection input, drive pulse output, travel/stop determination output, program in-operation output, and program start/stop input ports. (However, program start/stop input must only be used with one of either general-purpose input or program channel selection input selected. Both cannot be selected at once. This must also be used with only one of either general-purpose output or travel/stop determination output selected. Both cannot be selected at the same time.)
The QT-ADM2, QT-ADM2-35, QT-AMH2, QT-AMH2-35, QT-ADM3, and QT-ADM3-35 models are equipped with general-purpose input and output, program channel selection input, drive pulse input, drive pulse output, travel/stop determination output, program in-operation output, program start/stop input, and arbitrary step pulse output ports. With use in combination with the optional isolation interface (QT-AT), it is possible to connect to external devices.
(The QT-AT interface is required in order to use the I/O ports in models QT-ADM2, QT-ADM2-35, QT-AMH2, QT-AMH2-35, QT-ADM3, or QT-ADM3-35. I/O ports cannot be used if there is no QT-AT unit.)

6. For Connection to a PC, the RS-232C Interface is Included as Standard in All Controller Models

The QT-ADM2, QT-ADM2-35, QT-AMH2, QT-AMH2-35, QT-ADM3, and QT-ADM3-35 models are all equipped with Ethernet capabilities. The QT-AMH2 and QT-AMH2-35 models are further equipped with an additional GP-IB as standard. Ethernet can be operated through a virtual com port (VCP), allowing the creation of application programs in the same manner as the RS232C.

7.Analog Joystick (QT-AJ)

The QT-ADM2, QT-ADM2-35, QT-AMH2, QT-AMH2-35, QT-ADM3, and QT-ADM3-35 models are able to be connected to the QT-AJ analog joystick. (The QT-ADL1 and QT-ADL1-35 models are without joystick connectivity.)
This joystick is packed with a wide variety of functions such as jog control where the speed can be varied depending on the joystick tilt angle, jog/step control switching, speed table selection, and one-step movement.

8.Emergency Stop Input Terminal Equipped as Standard

All QT-A series controller/drivers are equipped with an emergency stop input terminal as standard. This terminal can be connected to an emergency stop switch.

9. Easy Configuration for Connecting Stages

In accordance with a connecting stage, limit sensor logic, origin sensor logic, pre-origin sensor logic, and the zero return mode can be effortlessly configured with a single parameter. (This is limited to stages manufactured by our company. Stages manufactured by others are not supported.)

10.Support for Z Stages With Electromagnetic Brakes

When used in conjunction with the QT-ADL1, QT-ADM2, QT-AMH2, QT-ADM3, or QT-BK models, it is possible to drive an electromagnetic brake equipped Z stage made by our company. (The QT-ADL1-35, QT-ADM2-35, QT-AMH2-35, and QT-ADM3-35 models are not supported.)
The QT-BK can be connected only to single axes as needed. This helps to keep costs under control.

11.Ultra-Low Vibration Micro-Step Drivers Built-In as Standard

The ultra-low vibration micro-step driver with smooth drive functionality is installed as standard in the QT-AMH2 and QT-AMH2-35 models.
The smooth drive function allows low vibration driving, even at speeds below 700pps.
This can enable blur-free observation, even through high magnification microscopes.

12.Support for Flexible Input Voltages

The QT-ADL1 and QT-ADL1-35 models are designed to use a DC24V power supply. They are suited for use in places where a DC24V power supply can be secured such as on production lines.
The QT-ADM2, QT-ADM2-35, QT-AMH2, QT-AMH2-35, QT-ADM3, and QT-ADM3-35 models can run off any AC90 to 240V (50/60Hz) power supply.

13.All QT-A Series Controller Drivers are Equipped with S-Shaped Drive Capabilities

S-shaped drive allows smooth acceleration and deceleration.

14. Equipped with Linear/Circular Interpolation Functions

The QT-ADM2, QT-ADM2-35, QT-AMH2, QT-AMH2-35, QT-ADM3, and QT-ADM3-35 models are equipped with linear interpolation between two axes functionality as standard. In addition, the QT-AMH2 and QT-AMH2-35 models are further equipped with circular interpolation between two axes functionality as standard. (The QT-ADM2, QT-ADM2-35, QT-ADM3, and QT-ADM3-35 models cannot perform circular interpolation.)

15.Equipped with Linear Scale Input (Only for T-AMH2, QT-AMH2-35) as Standard

This means that closed loop control is possible by connecting stages that have linear scales (made by us).
(We cannot guarantee that this will work for stages manufactured by other companies.)
